日立Astemoが「自動車用先端SoC技術研究組合」に参画
日立Astemo株式会社は、自動車メーカーを中心とした12社で2023年12月に設立された、高性能デジタル半導体(SoC*1)の車載化研究開発をおこなう「自動車用先端 SoC 技術研究組合(ASRA*2)」に、3月28日に参画することが決定しましたのでお知らせします。
今後、種類の異なる半導体を組み合わせるチップレット技術を適用した自動車用 SoCを研究開発し、2030 年以降の量産車への搭載をめざします。

Hitachi Astemo joins “Advanced SoC Research for Automotive“
Tokyo, March 29, 2024 – Hitachi Astemo, Ltd. announces it joined the Advanced SoC Research for Automotive Applications (ASRA*1) on March 28. ASRA was established in December 2023 by 12 companies, mainly automobile manufacturers, to conduct research and development of System on Chip (SoC*2) for use in automobiles.

*2 SoC: Type of high-performance digital semiconductor
The aim is to research and develop SoC for automobiles to which chiplet technology is applied, which combines different types of semiconductors, and to install them in mass-produced vehicles from 2030.
